First off, I like this painting. not saying that it's perfect, but saying that it is quite lovely. Honestly, if it was perfect, I would not have typed this.
Onto the actual critique, I'll start with the leaves. Rose leaves are not smooth like that. They are jagged, "toothy", and do not thin into a sharp tip. They are basically round, almost like little ovals. The veins are also a bit flashy. Veins in most any plants are near invisible, and rose veins are more like little indents. Otherwise, they are the right color and have fine shading.
The flower itself has hardly a mess up or wrong splotch, it just needs a little less sudden of shading (not just dark to light automatically, dark to semidark to medium to semilight to light). I know this is hard with acrylics, but you should at least try.
Overall, I like this painting and almost envy the fact that you can use acrylics so well <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";p" title="Wink/Razz"/> (I mostly do watercolor, though I don't post my paintings for some odd reason.). Congratulations on a job mostly well done. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/t/t…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Thumbs Up"/>
